The Sicnova brand, expert in 3D solutions for professional and industrial use, has developed the Sicnova 750 gr PET filament for plastic extrusion printers (FDM/FFF).
Main characteristics of Sicnova PET filament
PET is polyethylene terephthalate, being one of the most widely used, as it is everywhere. It is biodegradable, so it is used in bottles, food containers, objects, clothing. It differs from PETG in that it is not modified with glycol (hence the G for glycol).
It is less brittle and more flexible than PLA or ABS, and acquires a more transparent, crystalline-like appearance upon cooling.
It is more resistant to thermal deformation than PLA, but not ABS; it is therefore halfway between the two filaments.
The result it offers is very neat and it is very easy to print.
Sicnova PET 750 gr is available in various colors and gives a very good printing result for an economical price.
