The Spanish brand Smart Materials is recognized for its excellent quality in the manufacture of 3D printing materials. The coils stand out for their great versatility, easy handling, high resistance and properties such as the Nylstrong filament, which has more mechanical and thermal resistance than normal Nylon.

Main characteristics of the Nylstrong filament of Smart Materials

Nylstrong filament from Smart Materials is a Nylon (PA6) reinforced with fillers to give higher strength than normal Nylon. Suitable for 3D printing by FDM or FFF technology.

Thanks to these reinforcement fillers, the Nylstrong gets more mechanical strength and greater rigidity to withstand stronger impacts without deformation of the part and thermal resistance which allows working at high temperatures.

The printing temperature ranges from 245 - 265º C.

Recommendations for use of Nylstrong de Smart Materials

It is an abrasive material so it is recommended to use steel nozzle.
