    Smartfil Hydrosoluble Filaments

    Hydrosoluble filament from Smart Materials is a water-soluble support material suitable for multi-head 3D printing.

    Thanks to the fast dissolution in water, it is easy to remove. Compatibility with a large number of materials, PLA, ABS, NYLON, PETG, ... Excellent thermal stability

    The printing temperature ranges between 190 - 210º C.

    Recommendations for use with Polycarbonate Smart Materials

    For materials such as PLA, we recommend using a lower bed temperature than indicated so that the PLA does not deform due to excess temperature and still maintains its adhesion.

    Since it can dissolve in water, it should be protected and kept in a dry environment to avoid moisture and water absorption. The bag that packages the filament is sealed with a self-sealing zipper, and a desiccant bag with a high absorption power is included, so we recommend keeping the filament inside to protect it. Also, do not handle it with wet hands to avoid degradation.

    We advise to purge the extruder to remove the remaining material inside. Due to the nature of the material, when it is subjected to excessive temperature for a long time, it degrades and crystallizes, solidifying inside the extruder, and this can cause clogging
