    TPU Hardness+ Smartfil TPU filaments

    Main characteristics of TPU Hardness+ filament by Smart Materials

    TPU or thermoplastic polyurethane filament is flexible and abrasion resistant. It can withstand impact and is resistant to many chemicals. It is versatile and is used in many different industries.

    It has high resistance to abrasion, wear, oils, oxygen and ozone as well as microorganisms. Reduces impact and vibration. High resistance to hydrolysis and stabilized to Ultra Violet rays

    It is natural color and the printing temperature ranges between 210 - 230º C and with a bed temperature of 80 to 100º C. Printing speed of 40 - 60 mm/s.

    Recommendations for use with TPU Hardness+ de TPU Smart Materials

    It is recommended to keep the product in a dry and dark environment as it could absorb up to 0.5 % of atmospheric humidity and this can create water vapor in the extrusion which can give a bad surface finish.

    Once the printing process is finished, it is necessary to clean the nozzle by removing excess material to avoid clogging and defects
