    Functionalities of PETG filaments of Smart Materials

    PETG is polyethylene terephthalate modified with Glycol, hence the G is included. This PETG is also optimized and has a low shrinkage which facilitates 3D printing.

    Ideal for very shiny and translucent parts as it has 91% transparency in its natural state, it is very similar to glass with high thermal resistance

    It is also resistant to chemical agents and sunlight and has USP Medical Biocompatibility certificate (valid in its natural color).

    It offers a very good quality finish.

    PETG is available for 1.75 and 2.85 mm nozzles and different colors for an economical price.

    It requires a printing temperature of between 225 - 245 ºC and a bed temperature of 60 - 90 ºC.
