BASF Ultrafuse PA Filament Features

PA is polyamide and offers good toughness at low temperatures. Due to its excellent properties, this material has become indispensable in almost all engineering sectors for a wide range of different components and machine elements, as a high-quality electrical insulation material and for many special applications.

It allows printing of semi-flexible thin parts, however, it is very stiff at higher thicknesses

It has good fatigue and wear resistance.

A nozzle temperature of 220 - 250 ºC and a bed temperature of 90 - 120 ºC is recommended. With a nozzle diameter of ≥ 0.4 mm.

It has a high 3D printing speed between 30 - 60 mm/s
